Community Partners
At The Well, we believe that community and mission are not just activities we engage in, but they are natural responses that flow from hearts transformed by the gospel. When Jesus makes us new, He draws us into meaningful Christian community and sends us into the world around us on mission.
Every follower of Jesus has been called to make disciples and engage the people God has placed around them. This calling is lived out in our neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, shelters, foster homes, and care facilities throughout our city. Throughout Scripture, we see Jesus moving toward those who were overlooked, hurting, vulnerable, and marginalized.
Serving in Abilene
We partner with community organizations that are already serving faithfully among vulnerable populations. These partnerships help us understand real needs, respond, and walk alongside our neighbors with humility and compassion. We connect our congregation to these partners so that we may grow in awareness and support our neighbors.
